The Greater Southeast Affiliate of the American Heart Association has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Human Resources Recruiter. Primary function will be to deliver all facets of the recruitment process for positions throughout six states. This will be achieved through the development of recruitment plans utilizing traditional sourcing strategies, as well as developing new and creative recruitment ideas. This position will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring and retaining the best possible talent.
Required Experience
. BA/BS Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
. 2-3 years of recruitment experience, non-profit experience preferred.
. Demonstrated success in sourcing, selection, and placement of exempt and nonexempt staff.
. Ability to partner with hiring managers to identify, forecast, and fill talent needs.
. Capable of identifying and implementing appropriate and innovative tools and approaches for sourcing and screening candidates.
. Thorough understanding of employment laws, practices and policies.
. Proficient knowledge of Windows-based computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
. Proficient experience and knowledge utilizing on-line candidate tracking systems--experience with OPEN HIRE is a plus.
. Must be team oriented, dependable and flexible.
. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
. Ability to coordinate multiple open positions and tasks.
. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
