The USTA is looking for qualified male and female candidates to serve as Anti-Doping Chaperones. Detailed Below is the position's requirements.

The Role

    Notify the player selected of the need for sample collection
  • Accompany and observe the player until and after his/her arrival at the Doping Control Station (DCS)
  • All Chaperones will be provided a US Open uniform and be responsible for the use of their portable radio equipment. Each will be given an "ALL ACCESS" Credential, to include Locker Room access.
  • Chaperones MUST maintain visual contact with the player from the moment the match is completed until the player arrives in the Anti-Doping Station.
  • All individuals selected to be Chaperones will be required to meet with the IDTM Team for a training session on Tuesday of the US Open Qualifying Tournament.
  • All individuals selected to be Chaperones will be required to be available to work the entire two and a half weeks of the 2024 US Open.

Who You Are

  • Currently enrolled or have graduated from college
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be fluent in English
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of their duties
  • Have a strong knowledge of tennis and/or professional sport competition

Salary: $17 per hour; overtime eligible

$35 daily meal allowance during tournament (via credential)
