Job Overview:

This dynamic, compassionate clinician will join a strong, clinically based multidisciplinary team in treating children, adolescents, adults, and/or their families in a supportive, trauma-informed outpatient setting.

The LSW delivers direct clinical services such as individual, group, or family psychotherapy, crisis intervention, case management, outreach services and serves as a mental health consultant.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient setting

Preferred:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • Current NJ LSW or LCSW/LCADC license

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Shift working, evening shift
  • Monday-Friday
  • FT

Essential Functions:

  • Deliver clinical services such as individual, group, crisis intervention, case management, outreach services and consultation
  • Deliver direct clinical services such as Individual, Group, or Family Psychotherapy, couple counseling, crisis intervention, case management, outreach services and serves as a metal health consultant
  • Service delivery reflects all relevant age/developmental considerations
  • Participate in all crisis intervention, crisis management action per the programs policies and procedures
  • Develop a comprehensive history on the patient, including psychosocial development, current functioning, presenting problem, and history of treatment, through interviews with the patient, family and/or significant others
  • Develop written, comprehensive, psychosocial assessments based on the patient's history and relative to the presenting problem, reflecting age/developmental considerations
  • Responsible for development, implementation, monitoring, and documentation, in a timely fashion of initial interdisciplinary treatment plans
  • Attend weekly supervision
  • Take an active role in learning
  • Participate/present in case conferences
  • Take responsibility for professional growth and development through on-going participation in educational programs on-site and off-site, including clinically overseeing interns in the program
  • Meet customer satisfaction goals
