What you'll do

As the BI and Data Analytics Lead (Functional) you will be a key strategic leader responsible for driving data-driven decision making and insights across the organization. This hands-on role will leverage existing and new data sources partnering with the business to uncover opportunities to grow top-line revenue, improve bottom-line profitability, and foster a more data-driven decisions culture within the company.

This is a Hybrid role with the requirement to be in the NYC office 2-3 times a week.

Data Analytics Strategy
* Lead the development and implementation of the data analytics capability roadmap to support the company's business objectives across marketing, sales, category management, consumer insights, supply chain, finance & R&D.
* Identify, collect, and analyze relevant data from multiple sources to uncover strategic insights that can be acted upon to drive business impact.
* Leverage the latest cloud technologies to provide the data tools and solution to answer complex business problems.

Business Partnership
* Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and identify data and analytics opportunities to develop into effective business tools and reporting capabilities.
* Enable Business partners to be self-reliant by data democratization with appropriate semantic layers enablement.
* Foster a culture of data-driven decision making by evangelizing the value of analytics and empowering teams to leverage data in their day-to-day work.
* Design, plan and deliver resilient reporting solutions using Microsoft analytics stack.

Data Governance, Enablement & Innovation
* Oversee advanced analytics enablement (internal and external resources) across the organization providing expertise and aligning requirements to standardize data usage.
* Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, transparency, security, and consistency across analytical tools.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest data analytics trends, tools and techniques, and assess opportunities to incorporate innovative approaches.
* Partner with technical data lead to define architecture and data modeling priorities for efficiency and scalability.

What you'll bring to KIND

* Strong business acumen and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive measurable business outcomes
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams
* Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI)
* Expertise in data modeling, data visualization, database design and advanced analytics techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, machine learning)
* Significant experience leading data analytics and business intelligence initiatives within a CPG or related consumer-focused industry, with a track record of driving measurable business impact specifically in the marketing and sales functions

You have...

* 10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, ideally within the CPG industry
* Hands-on expertise in designing and implementing self-service reporting, data visualization and analysis tools to empower business users in the Microsoft analytics stack
* Proven ability to translate complex data into compelling, actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making
* Experience managing and mentoring high-performing data and analytics teams, including both technical and business-facing roles
* Deep understanding of analytics principles and best practices for building scalable, reliable data solutions

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $119,250 - $166,950. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
