Overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work in Global Emerging Markets (GEM) Technology and support GEM Fixed Income and Currency (FIC) Change and Transformation team with Deutsche Bank's multi-year key LATAM program. The program aims to re-build Deutsche Bank technical capabilities and streamline FIC pre-trade and post trade process through a series of technology automation and workflow projects in LATAM. Our senior business analyst function based in New York, plays a key role in ensuring front-to-back delivery of technology solutions to the program. GEM Technology delivery teams involved in this program involved in re-development of different parts in technology stack and distributed across the Globe - US, UK, Singapore, Mexico, Brazil, India.

What You'll Do

  • Be a solid leader of new business delivery projects across Global Emerging Markets franchise. Guide deliverables within Rates and Credit, Foreign Exchange, and Money Markets business line

  • Support GEM business workflow setup and systems development. Design and conceptualize new business solutions, clearly articulate potential impacts, and risks to the program

  • Perform day to day: user-requirement gathering, evaluation, translation into the Tech specifications, support development work prioritization, testing and release management. Map and simplify complex business, process, usability and data requirements in partnership and collaboration with many stakeholders

  • Maintain a strong communication and able to play a leading role within the Global Emerging Markets region. Implement strong project governance with live logs, top organization, clear milestones, and timelines

  • Keep up and actively contribute to map Global Emerging Markets technology footprint and help steering it towards global strategic guidelines

  • Lead mixed teams of allocated resources from various functions of the Bank and focus them on delivery of program goals and work in matrix environment with challenging priorities across the organization

Skills You'll Need

  • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of Investment Bank trading solutions and infrastructure preferably in Fixed Income or Equities with exposure to FIC products and Front-to-Back trading stack (including fixed income electronic trading)

  • Moderate Business Analysis and/or Project Management experience, preferably in the Investment Bank or Large Financial Institution

  • Experience in software development from inception through to delivery

  • Strong knowledge on technology & database concepts, Structured Query Language (SQL), Application Programming Interface's (APIs), software development life cycle (SDLC) Principles and Controls

  • Educated to Bachelor's degree level or equivalent qualification/work experience

  • Good verbal and written communication and ability to put tech concepts in plain language

  • Strong knowledge on technology & database concepts, SQL, Application Programming Interface's (APIs), SDLC Principles and Controls

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
