Web Designer - Retail Content Management

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Codes all front-end / creative web updates, including category banners, homepages, landing pages, navigation, PLP filtering modules and Stylitics shops
* Creates mobile first templates using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript/jQuery.
* Develops creative experiences on desktop, tablet and mobile platforms in accordance with the site refresh cadence
* Develops Front-end coding and logic for A/B testing
* Applies working knowledge of design patterns while being able to make recommendations for better design and user experience based on industry best practices
* Coordinates with web content specialists on timing of content pushes to ensure creative assets and products go live simultaneously
* Performs QA on all assets prior to their launch, identifying and troubleshooting issues & bugs
* Collaborates on special projects with IS, content specialists and other cross functional partners as needed
* Completes ad-hoc projects as assigned

Additional E-Commerce Support Functions:
* Assists in managing onsite technologies - both new implementations and maintenance for on-going functionality
* Assists web content specialists with technical problems related to content on the website (images / copy blocks / creative changes)
* Assists web content specialists with product content and web content management when necessary
* Participates in QA process with cross functional teams for monthly site launches

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

* Bootstrap, HTML, jQuery, JavaScript & CSS
* Knowledge of responsive design principles
* Knowledge of version control repository hosting service
* Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop & Dreamweaver
* Experience with Content Management Systems
* IBM Websphere Commerce experience a plus
* Significant familiarity with Web technology
* Knowledge of SEO and Accessibility Best Practices
* Expert in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* High energy, positive "can do" attitude and self-motivated
* High degree of organization, accuracy and flexibility; exceptional attention to detail
* Team player and collaborative
* Ability to thrive in fast paced, dynamic environment

We are a very fast paced workplace so someone who has 3-4+ experience in working with online retailers would be ideal.
